So after around 6 months now, i can admit that my subs are a little too loud and i can only hear them. I want to know what would be the better thing to do, where i can get the most for the buck. If possible, amp stock speakers? or buy a whole new set of speakers and amp them? What do you guys think?

You would be fine amplifying your stock speakers. they can take the 50rms watts that a normal 4channel would put out. look at an alpine to match your other amp.

I believe the factory tweeters and front speakers are 8ohms, but not positive. hooking them up on the same channel should drop them to 4 ohms. I'll test them when I install the amp and we will figure out what they are.

you wont need a whole wiring kit, just a distribution block and a few feet of 8 gauge wire. You'll also need some quick wire. Rays has it for like $1 per foot and you just run it from the radio to the amp.

I changed my speakers and amp'ed them the stock speakers are very cheep ans they way they are wired are not condusive to clear loud audio.

Personal opinion if you added subs, and a head unit, just upgrade to componate speakers, and amp you will be thank full in the long run and prolly alittle deaf too.

Maybe, but price is an issue for me.

Edit: Does how much my head unit sends power to the speakers, affect what kind of amp i need? [speakers take 50w, headunit gives them an rms of 22w]
